A Hack on Creating High-End Art at Home

Join Liyana and get an overview of the steps you will be going through in this class.

Liyana will welcome you to the class and then begin by showing you how to find some art on google. You will then learn how to copy and paste it into a document, and then resize and print it.

In this segment, you will learn how to create a border with the card so that your art is 'mounted'. Liyana will teach you how to size it using a template, and then how to create the border using a ruler. You will then cut your border to size and shape.

Here you will learn how to use some fabric as a background for your art. The fabric adds a beautiful contrast and makes your decor look more high-end. You will see how to use a template to draw along, and then how to cut your material to size.

This is the main section of the class. Liyana reveals her hack! You will copy the design you printed earlier, drawing directly onto the glass using a sharpie pen. You'll also see how to neaten your design if need be.

You will start by cleaning your glass, and then constructing all the parts back together. You will begin by placing the glass back into the frame, then your card mount, then the piece of material, and finally; the backing of the frame.
