At-Home Hands-on Measurement Practice
This product will help your students both with estimating length and using a ruler to measure in inches and centimeters. Choose if you want your students to practice writing the unit label themselves, or if you want the scaffold of having the label written for them.
This activity was designed to be completed at home, but is available in 8 versions so that you can best meet the needs of your students or differentiate with ease! Versions include household objects listed already or choose your own objects, with measurement labels or without measurement labels, inches, centimeters, comparing inches to centimeters, and estimating measurements without using a ruler.
The versions with the objects listed were designed to be completed at home during distance learning or for homework practice! Modify by having students write in their own objects, either in the classroom or with objects from home.
This is a great activity to engage them with measurement while at home!
