I'm very confused with this font. EVERY example of it shows it with swashes but when I downloaded it there are no swashes included! I got this free so I guess I can't complain too much - but if I had paid for this font I would be VERY upset!!

Those swashes are included. You may "view all glyphs" and you will all characters as in preview images provided. I think what you need is a tutorial or manual how to use the open type font or PUA encoded font, or how to access the stylistic sets. In the Creative Fabrica learn menu, find "Ultimate Font Guide", then read the "PUA Encoded Fonts"
