Great tips and tricks for all levels of card markers. Simply step by step instructions and how to get versatility out of all your products.
I'm still learning techniques for making cards. I found this class very easy to follow. I am inspired to try these techniques.
Again, a wonderful class. Clear, precise & informative instructions. Sorry we last the last part of your closing. But we all know how technology goes. Thanks again, Cindy-Lynn. Happy crafting.
Hi Linda! Thanks so much for letting me know the class was cut short at the end. I'll have the tech team look into it. 😁💗

Hi Linda, thanks so much for the feedback! Sorry for the inconvenience, that segment of the class has been fixed so you are welcome to finish off Cindy-Lynn's lovely class. Thanks for your patience and being a part of our CF Classes Community :)
I am fairly new at card making and didn't know what embossing and embossing powders were for. This was so informative so I will now be getting a manual die cutting/embossing machine. So looking forward to trying these techniques out. Great video content
I found it to cover everything I needed but in the same time presented in a way that was not overwhelming. Great jod!!!!

Meet your class teacher, Cindy-Lynn, and she will introduce you to what you are about to learn.
You will learn what is a die-cut and embossing machine, how to use embossing folders to add texture and dimension to your cards, how to prevent your paper from cracking when embossing, what to do if your embossing folders won't emboss properly, and how to blend color on embossed backgrounds.
In this lesson, you will learn what is Versamark and how to use it, how to melt embossing powders to create a heat embossed image, and how to blend over top of heat embossed images.
Using her blending tools and ink, Cindy-Lynn will show you how to ink over top of heat embossed images. As a bonus, she has a few stenciling examples to show you. Stencils can be a lot of fun, and they can create such pretty backgrounds.
Cindy-Lynn will teach you what are die-cuts and how to make them, how to emboss a die onto paper, how to die-cut from stamped backgrounds, how to die-cut from leftover paper or scraps, and, as a bonus, how to die cut from failed experiments on cardstock.
In this last lesson, Cindy-Lynn will demonstrate how to choose coordinating embellishments; how to use an embellishment tool and how to glue tiny embellishments easily. She will also teach you her system of 'the rule of triangles' which helps when placing embellishments and making them pleasing to the eye.
