Join the woodburning expert Aney Carver, in this introduction to the wood-burning class. Learn the basic techniques of wood-burning and get the scoop on all the tools you need to get started in the art of pyrography. Aney will start the class by showing you the different wood-burning kits, best woods, and accessories to help you burn. Then she will walk you through your first wood-burning project. It’s a simple decor piece where you will incorporate multiple burn strategies and adding color and you will learn how to varnish and finish it for hanging. This class includes some tips, designs, a practice template, and a list of supplies for you to download.
