Pickley Font Specimen
Meet Pickley, a basic no nonsense opentype SVG bitmap font.
Pickley is a recreation of my popular watercolor alphabet. It is limited to the Alphabet and basic punctuation. No numbers, diacritics, or anything fancy and just enough for catchy headers!
IMPORTANT: Opentype SVG is still limited to certain programs. Please make sure you have a Photoshop version of CC 2017 or above or Illustrator CC 2018 and above. If you don’t have a compatible program you can alternatively make use of the PNG files that I have included.
What’s Included
1 OTF font file (no web font)
Photoshop Brushes .abr file in a higher resolution
PNG files (170+) for high-resolution needs and DIY diacritics
I haven’t included the multilingual glyphs to keep the filesize within workable limits. Opentype SVG fonts are already a lot larger in size. If you need the accents, most are separately included in the font (access them through the glyphs panel through window glyphs if needed) or available in the Photoshop brush set and the PNG files.
This font has alternates for each glyph and a set of ligatures as well. See the previews and read below on how to access them manually.
If you’d like to recolor the font, you can do so by adding a color overlay in the layer blending options. The transparency of the font will remain preserved.

In the download file, there is an .otf file that when I install the font on my computer it is in my font list but nothing shows up when I type with it in my Photoshop Elements program.
What am I doing wrong ???

sadly part of the font info I submitted wasn't published in the description. I have contacted Creative Fabrica about the matter.
Opentype SVG fonts are limited to certain programs (find them on the colorfonts.wtf website ) and I don't believe Elements supports it. I do know the above list isn't fully complete since Procreate for example on ipad is also supported. I have also contacted the colorfonts website about that.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. I hope you have any of the other programs in which it can be used, but if not, I suggest reaching out to the CF team with a refund request. Like I said, I have also contacted them about the missing info that I submitted for this item since Opentype SVG (although awesome if you ask me) is relatively new and not fully supported yet.
