Sculpting a Colorful Parrot with Polymer Clay
What you'll learn
In this class, Lizzie Campbell, who is also known as Clay Disarray for her creative work, will show you in detail how to sculpt this cute and colorful parrot with polymer clay, to be situated in a frame once he’s complete. It’s a really versatile design so if you don’t have all the colors of polymer clay used in this class, you could easily modify the sculpture as a dove using some gray or white clay, or perhaps you’d prefer to make a simple blackbird with some black clay. Lizzie will show you all the tools you need to make the parrot before we look at how to sculpt the wings, body, and branch for him to perch upon. Finally, Lizzie will teach you how to construct all the elements to form a complete the polymer clay parrot.
