Shoemaking for Stuffed Animals
What you'll learn
In this class, instructor Sam shows step-by-step how to make sneaker-style shoes for a stuffed animal! They are pretty easy to make and don't require any sewing. The pattern can be easily adjusted to fit your specific stuffed animal and you can experiment with fabrics and shapes to create any kind of shoe you want using this technique.
You can find the patterns used in this class attached on the right-hand side, under the session titled "Materials and Tools".

IncludedSam walks through how to measure your stuffed animal and draw patterns for the sole, sides, and tongue of the shoe.
Next, Sam cuts out and covers the paper board pieces of the shoe and assembles them to create the frame.
Sam preps and cuts out the fabric pieces, then glues them into the frame.
Then, Sam paints on stitch detailing and adds the laces.
Lastly, it is finally time to try on the shoes and see if your stuffed animal can stand! They'll look so cool in their new pair of sneakers!
