This charming, asymmetrical quilt block design is ideal for producing any regular patchwork quilt, but it is superior for making a Sudoku Quilt! Sudoku Quilts use the same concepts as those featured in the classic game now enjoyed and played online by millions. Simply substitute one of four possible rotations of the pattern to achieve a plan that permits no two like positions in any row or column. It’s easy and fun, and the results are eye-catching and appealing!

Use one fabric for borders and circles, and scraps of two other fabrics to complete the appliqué design. Use fabrics you have on hand. Create borders, sashing, and cornerstones to control squareness. Appliqué by hand or machine, and add your choice of embellishments and/or embroidery.
