"Who Inspires You" Narrative Writing
This “Who Inspires You” Writing activity is a standards-based narrative prompt for writing standard W.2.3. Students can choose a person they know, a relative, someone famous, a historical figure, athlete, actor/actress, etc. and think about the traits that person has that inspires them.
This is a great extension to a character trait study; have students focus on the traits of their hero, and why those traits are admirable. It also is a great addition to good character education and can help spark conversations about how to be good citizens/someone that other people can look up to!
