What file formats are included?
Most fonts offer both .OTF (OpenType) and .TTF (True Type) formats. All fonts include at least one of these formats. You are allowed to convert them to other formats for your own use.
Can I use the fonts for commercial projects?
Yes, you can use the fonts for commercial projects. All the fonts you download from Creative Fabrica under the Subscription License and Single Sales License come with a commercial license. You can keep selling the commercial projects featuring your downloaded fonts even after you cancel your subscription. However, you're not allowed to create commercial items with previously downloaded fonts if you're no longer subscribed.
What does commercial use mean for fonts?
For fonts, commercial use means the use of the font assets for a project/product created for financial/monetary gain. Examples of commercial use for fonts include designing a T-shirt with a font and selling that designed product in your online store; creating a logo for your blog that contains banners, selling on Etsy, etc.
Can I use the fonts for Embroidery?
Yes, with the All Access Subscription all downloads come with a commercial license and you can use the fonts to create your own embroidery products. Please note that you will need to digitize the fonts yourself.
Do the fonts work with any type of software?
Yes, any application that supports fonts can be used. Some examples: Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, Canva, PicMonkey, MS Word, Publisher & many many more.
Can I convert a font to SVG and sell that converted file?
No, you cannot convert a font to SVG and sell that file. Under the Subscription License and Single Sales License you are not allowed to convert individual letters/numbers of fonts to different formats (including SVG, embroidery formats, etc.) and put those converted files for sale.
Can I use the fonts to create a logo or other images?
Yes, you can use the fonts you downloaded with your Creative Fabrica subscription to create a logo and other images. For physical end products, you can use the fonts with or without modifications on the logo design and sell the physical items with your logo design. For digital products, you can use the downloaded fonts as part of a new design, or combine them with other downloaded assets as well as assets of your own, provided that the design is flattened and the original assets (fonts, graphics, etc.) cannot be extracted.
Can I use the fonts to create products I will sell commercially, such as t-shirts, posters, books, mugs, or other printed merchandise?
Yes, you can use the fonts to create products to sell commercially when you download the fonts as part of your subscription. You can use fonts to create quotes, statements, names, or incorporate them in other designs. Should you choose to end your subscription, you can still sell these items with fonts that you previously downloaded with your subscription. However, once you've canceled your subscription, you can no longer use the same fonts on new designs.
Can I use the fonts in websites, mobile or desktop applications?
Yes, you can use the fonts in websites, mobile, and desktop applications. If you're designing for a client, you cannot transfer the font files used in these applications. If in case your client needs to receive the actual font file, they need to purchase a separate license.
