We’re so happy you’re here! You’re now part of a community that connects creatives and crafters with their fans.

CF Fans allows you to create your own subscription plan. It is up to you as a creator to choose what type of rewards you want to provide within the subscription and the minimum price you want to set for the monthly subscription. If your fans want to support you by paying more per month, they can! Your fans always have the option to pay more than the minimum amount set by you.

In return for their support, you provide your fans with rewards. Rewards can be anything from exclusive access to Facebook groups, tutorial videos, unique downloads, hangout sessions, behind-the-scenes clips or whatever you can think of. The sky is the limit!

In this article, we will walk you through everything you need to know in order to kickstart your own fanbase and begin this exciting creative journey.

Create and complete your profile

Your CF Fans account is connected to your Creative Fabrica account. This means if you already have a Creative Fabrica account and are logged in, all you need to do is click ‘’START CREATING’’ on the Pricing page and you will be automatically directed to a page where you can start building your CF Fans profile.

If you do not have a Creative Fabrica account yet, simply create one. To learn how to register on Creative Fabrica, read this article

Once you’re logged in, you can set up your profile right away. You will see that the process is simple and straightforward!

Follow these necessary steps to complete your profile:

  • Name your page. This could be your actual name or your brand name.
  • Upload a profile picture. We recommend that you choose a picture that would best represent your brand.
  • Choose a category that best describes your content. We have an extensive list of categories you can choose from, but you can only pick one category. Be sure to choose your main one.
  • Select the monthly recurring fee that you want your fans to pay. Please note that the minimum fee you can set is $0.99 per month.
  • Write an attractive and compelling headline for your page. Write a short but concise description about what you do on your page.

Once you’ve completed your profile, you can get started with your strategy. To learn how to do this, keep reading!

Decide what rewards you want to offer

On this platform, your fans pay a monthly subscription fee in exchange for rewards. It is up to you as a creator to choose what type of rewards you want to provide within the subscription. They can come in a variety of forms, even the simplest ones such as the ability to support you as their favorite creator.

Providing attractive rewards can contribute to the success of your subscription. There are several questions that you can ask yourself to determine the right subscription rewards:

  • How much time will this take me?
  • Can I commit to providing these rewards on a regular basis?
  • Would I, as a fan, pay this much money for these rewards?

Once you’ve come up with rewards, make sure to explain them clearly on your profile and in the content you use to promote your subscription. This way potential fans know what to expect and what they will get from your subscription.

Develop your brand’s identity and messaging

Your branding is highly important to develop your CF Fans subscription. Consistency is key. There are two main things that you need to develop: a tone of voice and a visual identity.

Before you start posting, you have to decide how you want to talk to your fans; this will define your future relationship with them. Our advice is to keep a casual, friendly tone of voice.

Also, you’ll need to create some visuals for your profile picture and banner. We recommend that you use a picture of yourself or your logo as your profile picture. This makes it easier for your fans to recognize you and create a personal connection with you.

These branding elements will help you make your new profile look coherent and professional. Even though your fans’ interaction will be mostly casual, you must look (and be) reliable.

Publish a few posts

Before officially launching your subscription and announcing it to your community, make sure that your feed is not empty. Publish a few posts (2-3 posts) on your profile. Make some posts available to the public. That way when you start promoting your subscription, potential fans will be able to see and visualize the type of content you offer.

Announce your CF Fans subscription on your social media channels

Now that your profile is complete and your subscription is ready, it’s time to start promoting it!

CF Fans is indeed a discovery platform, however promoting your subscription to your existing community is always a great way to grow your fanbase quicker.

If somebody follows you on your existing social channels, it means they appreciate your work. These people see value on what you do and they could be eager to pay for some extra benefits and subscribe to your CF Fans profile.

Creating a fanbase is a milestone in your creative career. Feel free to create some hype around it! Your most loyal followers will be happy to support you on this new adventure.

Listen to your fans

Sometimes it can take a bit longer to see what your audience wants. Don’t stress about it: it is completely normal! Luckily, you are on the right platform to experiment with different options and grow.

CF Fans comes with a polling feature, which you can use to ask your audience about anything including their preferences. You can interact with your fans from the very beginning and find out what type of content they want to see.

Your fans will appreciate that you listen to them and care about what they think. These interactions will make them more engaged and feel more valued!

Don’t give up!

Building a fanbase is a constant work in progress. Sometimes, you can see the results immediately. In other cases, you’ll have to work a bit on your platform before it pays off.

Our advice is to be consistent and not give up. Manage your expectations, experiment, and keep trying. Take care of your community, welcome new members, and interact with existing ones.

Last but not least: Don’t forget to enjoy the process!

The best part of this whole creative journey is that you get to do the things you’re passionate about and genuinely enjoy. So, don’t forget to enjoy the process!
