How to create eco-friendly confetti
It's vegan, it's biodegradable, and it's a lot of fun!
In today’s post, we are going to teach you how to create eco-friendly confetti at home. This alternative to traditional confetti is 100% vegan and biodegradable. All the supplies you need are things that you have at home, and you can re-use them. Follow the steps and learn how to make this craft at home!
- Dry leaves from your home plants. Home plants lose a lot of leaves as they grow.
- Scissors. The smaller, the better -you will need them to cut thin leaves into smaller pieces-.
- Paper and marker. You’ll need them to label your craft.
- A small glass jar.
Collect some dry leaves from your home plants. Clean the dust and make sure they are still dry (otherwise, your confetti could be smelly).
Cut each leaf into thin pieces. Try to give all the cuts the same approximate size.
Once you have finished cutting all the leaves, the outcome should look like the image below.
Cut a small horizontal piece of paper. Draw a label for your confetti.
Place the label inside the small jar. Put all the confetti inside and shake it. This way, the different colors of the leaves will get mixed.
And here’s your small jar of eco-friendly confetti! You can make as much as you want. This craft is the perfect complement to give your next parties an ecological touch.
