To use your fonts on Canva, you’ll have to upgrade to the Pro version. You can read more about pricing and features here. Unfortunately, you can not upload your fonts to the free version of the tool.
Pro users can create a brand kit to make their workflow more agile. You can find this brand kit on the left menu. In this section, you can upload your logo and create a color palette.
There are three sections in the Brand kit view: brand logos, brand colors, and hand fonts.
In “Brand Fonts”, you’ll find a list with all the fonts you have uploaded. Scroll down till the end of the page. There, you’ll see a button that reads “Upload a font.” Hit this button to continue.
A new window will appear in your browser. Use it to navigate through your device until you find the font files that you’d like to upload.
Once you’ve found the font file, select it, and hit “Open.” Usually, fonts come in either OTF or TTF files.
Canva will display a banner requesting you to confirm that you have the right to use this font. This step is crucial for the success of the process.
