Print on Demand Challenge: Vitamin Feast
We've made six products out of one design!
This post is the third chapter of our POD challenge. Just as we did in previous weeks, we have picked a Full POD graphic from our library. The goal of this challenge is to design six different Print on Demand products with that graphic.
For today’s post, we have chosen the beautiful Aquarel hand-drawn healthy eating pack. This clipart set is available on Creative Fabrica, and it includes a Full POD license. You could use these items without modifying them, but we believe that adding some changes makes everything more fun.
Let’s get started!
On this article:
Cute Print on Demand purse
The first product that we are going to design is a handy purse. We’ll only cover one of its sides, but we want to make it colorful. For that purpose, we’ve aligned these two avocado shapes. To complete the composition, we decided to add some lettering.
This beautiful serif font is called Bilingual. Just as every font available on Creative Fabrica, it includes a Full POD license. We haven’t used any unique glyphs for this design, but these straight shapes look elegant and straightforward.
And here’s the mockup for our purse! As you can see, the resolution of the image fits the product perfectly.
Sweet Print on Demand journal
Our second design is going to be a journal. Stationary assets are top-rated on POD stores. To decorate our journal, we’ve decided to create a pattern.
We’ve created our pattern with Canva, filling the whole area with different elements. It’s essential to notice that this pattern is not seamless: you can not create a scalable version by repeating this image multiple times. At the moment, it’s not possible to create seamless patterns on Canva. If you want to create a pattern, here’s a tutorial on how to do it on Adobe Illustrator.
And here’s our mockup! The aspect of the notebook is so cute and fresh. We’ve adjusted the limits of the design to the borders, so the surface is completely covered.
Colorful Print on Demand mouse pad
Let’s start with our third design. We’ve decided to mix our avocado with two other elements, to create a colorful composition.
Here’s our mix: green, red, and yellow. It looks fresh! Overlaying elements is always a good idea. By aligning basic shapes, you can create beautiful compositions!
And here’s our mockup! Nowadays, Print on Demand platforms allow you to create very realistic mockups for almost every product. These images are crucial to attract potential sales.
Handy Print on Demand bottle
Our next design is a reusable bottle. Sustainable items go viral in POD marketplaces. We’ve decided to decorate ours with a fun collage composition.
We’ve placed some slices of pineapple on top of our avocado shape. It looks like a crown!
And here’s the mockup for this product. Mockups with context are always the best way to show your products. In any case, make sure that your clients can see your design perfectly!
Flexible Print on Demand phone case
Our next design is a flexible phone case. We wanted to keep it simple, so we’ve decided to place these three avocado figures.
This design is a good example: you don’t need to make big modifications to give your POD assets a special touch. We’ve only placed two elements of our clipart in the right position, and voilá!
Here’s the mockup for our phone case. Flat-lay compositions are a great way to show your e-commerce products. If you’d like to learn how to create your own flat-lay pictures, check this tutorial.
Today’s last design is one of our favorites. It’s simple but effective! With this composition, we’d like to prove that, by adding the right lettering, you can turn a single element into a cool composition.
This sans serif font is called Avocado (no pun intended). To create the 3-D effect, we have overlayed two identical letterings.
And here’s the mockup. Our avocado clipart is the main protagonist of the back of this beautiful hoodie. The horizontal lettering is there to make the difference.
